I thought I should take the time to write about a very important event in my life...
I got engaged to Eric Rice on May 17th!
And I couldn't be any happier.
I am so excited to marry Eric and I love him so much.
Who knew this could happen to me, let me tell you, awkward 16-17 year old Whitney never thought so. Travis knows better than anyone my teenage anguish... all in vain.
Well I am the happiest I have ever been, life is just simply great, and I hope to see everyone on September 20, 2008 for my wedding!

Congratulations, Whitney!
You seemed like a very composed 1-17 year old to me!
I hope all goes well with your wedding plans - maybe you can share stuff with Alana (she's getting married on my birthday).
Hey Beautiful--Like I said before...Congratulations!!! I'm so happy for you!
I just re-read my comment - I meant 16 - 17 year old. OOPS!
Hey Whit! Congratulations!! Aren't you only 11 years? lol. I can't believe you're gonna get married. I still think of you and Jordan as little kids!! But you are all grown up and so beautiful! Congratulations again!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, and pictures, please!
Whit,
Congratulations!
I am reminded of the song from Fiddler on the Roof; "Turn around and your one, turn around and your two; turn around and your a young girl walking out of the door" and it has gone just that fast.
You have grown up beautifully, and we are happy for you.
In case you didn't notice, I wrote "your" instead of "you're". John Connors, if enough of us do this we can eventually change proper grammar. Sorry Kate.
im so happy for you whit! now I feel officially old. One of my former primary students is getting married!!! Enjoy this special time!!!love ya tons!!!
Congrats Whit!! Sorry I haven't been able to tell you that officially...but hopefully my eager photographer and wedding dress recommendations have said it all. I know a great, reasonably priced florist too if you need one. Can't believe you're old enough for this! Or is that "your old enough"? Hmmm...your mom's plan may be working...
Oh, and Travis got me through 18-30. He's seriously the best girlfriend ever.
Wow Whitney! Of course I'd heard from Carly but I'm so happy for you! Marriage is the best.
I hope you celebrated this new chapter in your life by buying a new pair of shoes. I mean, come on! (and a bag to match) :-)
Melody
